To secure your reservation, our payment schedule is as follows:50% of the total reservation cost is due at the time of booking.The remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to your reservation date.A $500 security deposit is due 7 days prior to your reservation date.The $500 security deposit is fully refundable following checkout, provided the property is left in good condition, there is no damage beyond normal wear and tear, and all house rules have been followed.Following your departure, the property will be inspected. If there are no damages or violations, the full $500 security deposit will be returned.

Cancellations must be made by text or written message and acknowledged by the Lessor. Cancellations made more than 7 days before arrival will result in the 50% deposit being retained. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival or after the arrival date are subject to the full rental amount, excluding the cleaning fee, which will be refunded.If your stay is affected by an unforeseen property issue, such as a water or power outage, you will only be charged for the days used, with the remaining balance refunded. When possible, we may also offer rebooking options, subject to availability and any applicable rate difference.

The cleaning fee goes directly to our cleaner to ensure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for every guest. The fee is the same regardless of the length of your stay, as each departure requires a full cleaning, including washing linens and towels, cleaning the cottage, and preparing all areas for the next guests. This also includes cleaning and preparing the hot tub and sauna for your arrival.

A $500 security deposit is required to help protect the property and ensure that our house rules are respected during your stay. Pets are welcome with prior approval. A minimum $45 pet fee applies and covers the additional cleaning time required after your stay, including extra vacuuming of furniture, floors, windows, and removal of pet hair. The pet fee may be higher for animals that shed heavily or require additional cleaning.All pets must be disclosed and approved before your stay. Undisclosed pets may result in an additional cleaning charge being deducted from the security deposit.

At Whispering Pines Chalet, we want your stay to be relaxing from the moment you arrive, without worrying about extra costs. That's why all the firewood you'll need during your stay is included in your rental. We also try to ensure you have kindling and fire starter.

Propane and wood pellets are including in the price of your stay. Once again, we want to make things as easy as possible for our guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

We may have a little bird seed available to help get you started, but fair warning - our birds are little piggies. They quickly discover when someone is filling the feeders and can go through an impressive amount of seed. If you'd like to keep the feeders full and enjoy watching the birds throughout your entire stay, we recommend bringing along a bag of bird seed.

We've got plenty of ways to enjoy the lake! Guests have access to our kayaks and paddleboards, along with a selection of floaties and life jackets for use during your stay. We also have a large floating battle mat in the water that's perfect for some friendly competition, playing with the kids, or just lounging in the sun.With the water being so clear, bring your own snorkeling mask to explore the shoreline!
